Factories effect environmental what law of environmental, why is not donate seeds
Factories pollute the air by pumping out chemicals that are harmful for all the living things. That is why there is acid rain and global warming. There is a lot of science involved in this, Factories can pollute the environment through thermal pollution, chemical pollution, air pollution, noise pollution, for a few examples. Thermal pollution is when hot water is dumped into cool water in a river, lake, pond or bay. The difference in temperatures can promote algae growth, kill of native fish or wildlife, or it might cause disruptions in the water that causes the water to change temperature, also causing major problems with wildlife. Chemical Pollution is when chemicals are exposed to the environment, either by dumping them into sewage plants, where excess waste ends up in the ground. A good example of this is nuclear waste. This needs to be treated carefully or else it could completely destroy an area. Air pollution is when pollution is mixed in with the air. Noise pollution is when a factory causes a lot of noise... enough to affect the surrounding environment.

THE TARGERTS OF EDUCATION AND MISSION
Objectives
The objective of the
Environmental Education Project is:
To
increase local awareness of national environmental issues and to promote a
concept of responsibility and pride for Forest Reserves.
o To
build the capacity of local communities to understand the importance of
their local forests, in the hope of helping effective
future management of forest
resources.
·
To promote self-responsibility for
protecting and utilizing Forest Reserves.
·
To encourage respect and interest for the
environment. The plan of activities proposed for the Phases is briefly
presented below:
・ Develop environmental education materials
・ Implement human resource development
・Develop innovative Eco-tourism
education models
When the Project undertakes the
above three activities, the following should be kept in mind: focus on concrete
targets
Target groups
Potential target groups will be, extension workers (e.g.
forest managers), resource
managers, local leaders, village committees, school
children and teachers, environmental
committees, youth groups, women’s groups and the general
public. These groups have been considered for the following reasons:
Extension
workers/resource managers
The involvement of extension workers in education efforts
can maximize education impact since these workers can influence many people,
and are they used to communicating with the local community. The translation of
recent biodiversity research and science to foresters and other resource
managers is therefore particularly worth
Local leaders
and village committees
. Local leaders and other influential members of the
community are generally an effective target group, firstly, as they are likely
to help identify other target groups and secondly because they usually lead community
members
General public
The general public are an obvious target, although a great
deal of preparation is required when targeting this group to make impacts
effective and to ensure concepts are thoroughly understood.
School children
School children might be targeted in the hope of creating
environmentally responsible adults, investing in the country’s future. Other
groups (e.g. those presently negatively affecting the environment, such as
hunters) may however require more urgent attention. With reference to biodiversity
survey feedback however, school children are a particularly important target group.
Environmental education of school children can also indirectly or directly
involve adults.
Environmental
Committees
Environmental committees are an obvious target for
biodiversity survey feedback. It is likely that they will provide an interested
and motivated audience. As active members of an organization that is helping
manage and conserve effectively the environment
Women’s groups
Women’s groups are also an influential target group
within the community and many extension activities and resource use issues
are directed at women as the main
resource collectors or users. Women’s groups are familiar with working together
to discuss environmental issues (e.g. new stove technology) and are likely to be
an interested and motivated audience. They are also likely to pass on these
learnt skills and
good-practice to their children.
STRATEGIES WHICH
WILL BE USED DURING THE PROJECT
·
Environmental
committees discussion
·
On camp demonstrations and participation in
discussing importance of proper conservation of the environment to
regional/village committees/women’s groups.
·
‘Activity afternoon’ for younger school
children, poster competition.
·
Presentation to local extension workers, environmental committees or
women’s groups about about environment education and monitoring techniques and the value of
Iringa Region
·
More structured lessons for older school children with visual aids, essay
writing
competition.
Available resources
include:
•
Maps – The world, Africa, Tanzania, Iringa map
•
Toy Globes.
•
Visual aids - field identification keys of animals and
plants produced by Frontier
•
Tanzania, environmental issues posters and pamphlets
(WWF, WCST)
•
Printed material produced by Frontier-Tanzania
•
Stationary – coloring pens and pencils, paper, card
Evaluation
It is essential that an evaluation of the
successes and failures of any environmental education Project be documented, so
that experiences are learn from and communicated widely. This report therefore
documents the experiences from the environmental education activities that took
place between October 2001 and June 2002 within the Environmental Education
Programme.
FIRST PHASE
To
create conducive environment for making project to succeed
Concrete Activities in the Second Phase
The Environmental Education
Project will execute the following activities in the Second Phase.
Development of environmental education materials
Collection of environmental
education resources/expansion of network:. An effective system n order to
introduce these materials widely will be designed. This educational material
will be targeted at primary school/high school students, teachers, college, university and Iringa Environmental
protector organization. The Project will pay attention to the other project
outcomes (Climate Policy, Urban Environmental Management, and Forest
Conservation). These are all linked to promoting environmental awareness and
the role of environmental education for problem solving, as well as developing
educational materials.
Implement
human resource development
Strengthening of training
program: The training program “Environmental Education Training for training in targeted group like primary
school teachers, pupils, people of rural and urban areas and university
students
Project Management
Basically, the Project
Leader assumes of the responsibility for the overall management of the Project.
However, taking account of the fact that the Project Leader is a part-time
position, a ‘Project Manager’ will be appointed amongst the full-time workers
in the organization to assist the
Project Leader and handle the daily management and administration of research
activities.
ENVIRONMENT
EDUCATION PROJECTS FOR SUSTAINABLE
DEVELOPMENT
IN IRINGA REGION
All over the
world, industrialization’s reaching to its peak along with the drastic increase
in population and urbanization have led to an increasing ignorance in using
natural resources. As a result of ignorant use of soil, weather and water
resources and changes in the climate, the life of living creatures, including
humans and other entities, has come face to face with the danger of extinction.
Negative conclusions like drought and desertification, environmental
pollution’s damaging the living life and the extinction of the living kinds
have put the perception of sustainable development as an important issue on the
world’s agenda. So as to achieve sustainable development, lots of activities
have been carried out regarding the management of natural resources. However,
providing sustainability is not possible only through politics achieving
natural resources management but also through making people gain environmental
awareness, through provision of education.
Sustainable development is defined as “Humanity has the
ability to make development
sustainable to ensure that it meets the needs of the
present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their
own needs” (Kates, Parris&Leiserowitz, 2005).
Sustainable
Development and Environment
Environment is not only a huge area in which we keep
on living, but also a huge ecosystem in which millions of creatures live.
Environment provides raw material for
economy. This raw material gained through the
production process turns out to be a
consumption product. Then, these raw materials and
the energy used in production return to the environment as pollution(Yucel
2004). Therefore, sustainability of environment is
reasonably important in regards of economical
development. Practical Environmental Education Project
At the end of a project targeted group will be able
to know different issues such as on the issues of environmental protection,
preventing pollution, gaining positive consuming habits, gathering recyclable
solid contaminations in their own resources separately, researching about
recycling issues.
BENEFIT OF THE
PROJECT
Environmental education project aims to provide
effective participation of people and increase the love for nature in order to
solve the local environment problems and to protect environment. Project is
targeted at the increasing of the environmental information and awareness of
the children, supporting teachers about the environment, making families of
students more aware of environmental issues with educational materials,
decreasing environmental problems by increasing awareness.
In terms of the project, teachers are informed about
how to transfer the issues in the
education set for the students by joining to the
environmental education seminars. Then the students are educated in the field
of environmental education including soil, weather, birds and they are provided
with the observation of birds and the migration of grey mullet.. the numbers of trees planting on last years and this years 115667800 its numbers of trees planted the named of types of trees fadobiaarbida, moringa alfera, sessbania sesbenia,Leucana divesforia, zedach, merina, rucina, gravirea, idiana, the types is special of afforest and fight climate change,The organization we needs support to every one seek and piece full of environmental
